Skirt Bag Tutorial

Okay, I was asked a little while ago to do a tutorial on the skirt bag.

I finally got around to it this morning. I've never done one of these before so hopefully it makes sense and is usable. Please forgive the crude drawings. Comments and questions are welcome.

Tip: I recommend using a skirt made from a heavier material such as corduroy or jean so that you don't need interfacing and using a light weight and soft material as your lining like thin fleece or a satin.

Don't forget to post your bags if/when you make one, I'd LOVE to see them!

That particular one is a child's skirt but I tried to leave the direction general so that you can use them for any size/shape skirt you want.

I do think you'll find that the child's skirts will have much more fun paterns and such as well. I suggest your local Goodwill. I got the skirt I used for the original bag for $2 at mine!
