the chicks are all pretending that they are gonna let the wounded bunny get away. *insert whistling noises of that guy in front there* hes TOTALLY playing the part, and the rabbit is none the wiser. *click the pics to supersize em*
I've seen those chicks as cupcake decoration at Michael's and such. My mom would always put them on my birthday cupcakes as a kid for my March birthday. :)
I love the bunny and your graphic storytelling. ;)
aww, thats sweet! yah, my freaking site is down right now due to server problems which drives me MENTAL, but itll be back up soon. i use crap cowichan wool for the shape, and merino for the top, its softer, i used to use the cowichan wool for the entire thing, works fine till i felt the difference between it and the merino, now i felt with EVERYTHING, hemp, cotton, even feathers :P
Do you use merino wool? I bought some regular cheap-ass wool at a local fibre shop and I really hate working with it. I have a theory that a finer wool might work better.

They are a big part of what made me want to try needle felting. Now I just need to get *good* at it!!

I do still have the photos, but they're not hosted anywhere since Flickr stopped doing that. I sent you a private message with my email address, I'm happy to send you the photos via email!
I used to make cards like this with my aunt when I was a little girl! She recently passed away which reminded me of the project, so I wanted to teach my own girls to make these, but I wasn't sure I…
