Cleaning out the craft room!

Hi friends, I'm so tired of cleaning. We had an unplanned home repair (to put it succinctly) and we ended up getting rid of a lot of stuff PDQ. We're still getting rid of stuff and this weekend I took up the challenge of cleaning out my craft room/office. The last time I did this was in 2010 - it was a major undertaking! This time it wasn't so bad, but once stuff comes out of storage for the basement, I'll be a lot choosier about what stays and what goes.

Have you cleaned the craft room lately? What crafts/interests have fallen out of favour? Any surprises or great finds?

I did that Friday actually. It was just a mini clean-out, but I needed to get it over with before it got too overgrown to get any crafting done in there. That can happen much too fast!

LOL, don't we know it! My kitchen table had a big craftsplosion last weekend.

"Craftplosion" Haha, I had this image of craft supplies 'exploding' out of a box.

(And yes, that can happen way too often. I so wish I had a designated craft room, where I could leave my supplies out. Instead I have to go through things, and then put away everything once crafting is 'done'. I don't know why putting away all the little crafty bits makes me so tired.)

It feels like they explode out of a box sometimes! I found a local buy and sell group on FB, so I'm hoping I can get a little cash for the stash. I have way too many punches and stuff.

IMHO, it's the decision making process that is so tiring. You to decided what to do, where to put stuff, what to throw out. The brain isn't an infinite resource :-)
