Hanging Stars
- Nov. 11th, 2012 at 8:25 AM
I made this strand of hanging stars for Christmas to the delight and gratitude of my cats who will no doubt shred them the second I turn my back, even though I made them their very own catnip filled stars which they promptly ignored.

For those who are interested, I placed a tutorial on my craft blog, here.

Plus there's a high customization factor working in your favor. Thanks for sharing this wonderful idea!
They can be hand stitched for those who don't have a sewing machine, or the fabric can be glued.
That paint never photographs to its true colour, but this shot is close. I have recently turned on bold walls but for some reason, I still like this green in the kitchen.
The rest of my house has been repainted in soft neutrals, so I guess one lively room is tolerable.
In my childhood, I had a wool-knitted hat with a clumsy red star on the top.
Your stars are evidently neat and pious, indeed.
