These super slick recycled tie shirts are my pride and joy this month. So cute, so sexy, so recycled....=)
Very time consuming. I made two and I think I`m DONE with this particular craft...

Love that bondage look too.

And the fabrics look completely different from their original bad tie thing... as a set of quilted fabric they look so exotic I thought they were Thai or SE Asian at first.

How do you sew your ties together?
Mine always look SO much more messy then yours.

Hey,
The best way is to rip the ties open at the back seam, line them up along the edges of the tie, pin along the crease and sew. That way the lines are clearly laid out to follow along. It is a tricky task.

damn. that's cool. i was going to attempt to make a tie dress for prom, but then that idea failed. cuz i couldn't figure out how to do it!

now i have so many ties... i need to make a skirt.
