Absract Floral Greeting Cards

Sometimes I just look at a blank canvas and don't know where to start. So I painted some greeting cards to get warmed up. It's always easier to paint on a cheap material, it's more relaxing somehow and I don't worry about "ruining" a canvas, though canvases are cheap enough and I can always paint over them if I don't like them.

those are nice and "loose" and very vibrant. I know what you mean about painting on _canvas_ :)

Thanks!

Your icon is cute! It reminds me of my cat.

Yes, very vibrant and lively. I know what you mean about painting on canvas, it can be so intimidating. I still do most of my work on paper, and I love it. Canvas is cool too though, you just have to be ready for it :-)

But I like paintings on canvas so much better when they are finished. I like the way paper looks and feels better, but I don't like framing them behind glass. My favourite thing to paint on is wood because I like the way it feels to have the paint absorbed into it a little as I am painting.

I really like those! It reminds me of some of the paintings in my card making software. I agree with an above post in that you should make those into a set of cards and sell them.
