Okay, so I'm planning on making some wine charms with my extra time that I have.... and I'm ordering some wine charm hoops in the 1inch in diameter and they're 21 guage.... whatever that means. What size of beads should I buy to fit onto the wire???? I've not made these before and don't want to buy some beads only for them to not fit, so what do I need to get?
what you want, rather than those wine things (which I'm sure are costly) is ring memory wire. It comes in a set of loops that are 1 inch in diameter... all you need is a pair of roundnose pliers to make loops at the ends for each piece...
Almost any kind of beads will work... I would agree that a size 8/o would probably work well... My favorite look for wine glass charms is a combination of 8/o beads and 6/o beads in contrasting colors.
