Some people have made comments about the goblets that were in my gift baskets

I bought the goblets at Dollar Tree, filled them with tiny soaps I made with candy molds, shrink wrapped ONLY the bowl of the goblet, then added the charms. I bought the charm kit at JoAnn.
These were very easy and would also be really nice for a date-night basket!

Words of advice, if you are trying to do similar things:
1. Check your newspaper for cuopons for crafting stores (Michaels has had 40% off cuopons for the past couple weeks)
2. If you buy mason jars, try Dollar General (I got my small ones for $5/dozen and my big ones for $6/dozen).
3. If you make candles, always put at least double the scent suggested. You want to actually be able to smeel them, don't you?
4. When looking for baskets and little things (like my pinecones and glitter apples) go to Dallar Tree. All but one of my baskets were $1/piece. The only one that was more expensive was the great big one. That one is actually a laundry basket that I got at Michaels for $2.50. It's HUGE and the deal was AWESOME so I bought 3! Those will be going to the parents.
5. If you make lipgloss, WING IT! A little beeswax, some cocoa butter, and sweet almond oil makes wonderful lip balm! Melt it in the microwave, add color (you can use lipstick to tint it...$1 wet n wild is WAY cheaper than buying lip balm tints) and flavors, and pour. VERY EASY AND VERY QUICK!
6. When you make your candles, let them cool in segments. Explanation: Pour a third, let it cool, pour a third & let it cool, pour a third and let it cool. This helps the candle from sinking in the center.
7. You do NOT have to do huge baskets for everyone! Pick a few choice things you would like to give as gifts and go with it!
Hope this helps you a bit!
LOL! You are too kind. That was a very thorough and helpful reply. Thank you!! You're too sweet. =)
I've been in research mode for now but hopefully soon I will start making things too and will be able to contribute to the community.
