Administrative notice: gift idea requests

Hey all you crafty divas! Mother's Day is approaching, so this seems a good time for a quick reminder that we don't allow gift idea requests in this community. We're just too high traffic and have too many other wonderful things to focus on, so any gift idea requests will be deleted.

There's a great community, crafty_gifts, which should be able to help you with all your crafty gift conundrums. And, as always, our wonderful memories section has tons of ideas, including a short section on Mother's Day gift ideas.

If you make something super cool for your mom, post it! We'd love to build up that section of our memories!

thank you much. though i must say that holiday ones dont bug me as much as the ones that start with "i'm too lazy to check the FAQs"

Wow! I'm just checking the community like I do now and then and saw this. All of the gift requests are what made me take the community off of my friends list. It especially got old when people did the whole "I really love my boyfriend and we've been together x amount of months and I want to make him a gift that is unique and shows how much I love him. What should I make?"

THIS is the polite way to do things! go you! unfortunately for some poor souls who make the mistake of posting the wrong thing in here, the other members of the community are not so nice.

but this is the way to go, in my opinion. thanks :)
