painting ?

heyyyyyy... i did a couple paintings on canvas with acrylic paints, but i noticed he canvas gets dirty easy. is there something i can put on it after i paint to seal it and keep it from getting dirty?

If you're painting with acrylics it's not really a problem to clean it after you paint it. Just use a soft, damp cloth and just clean it lightly.

If you havn't sealed your painting at all, I recommend doing so. You can buy spray acrylic sealant at Walmart for about three dollars. Or, you can use aerosol hairspray. I only recommend the latter for pencil/charcol/pastel/nupastel/chalk works though.

hairspray is for dry media usually, in place of fixative. itll actually attract more dirt since itll stay sticky.

i know this is long dead, but i was going through the memories.

The hairspray is an alternative,But Id reccommend an actual acrylic sealer.Hairspray can turn yellow after a long period of time so I dont think youd want that:)
