I would like to decoupage a box for my boy to put all of his Playboys in with classic pinup pics.. any clue where to get enough to cover a box (somewhat cheaply)??

can you print some off the internet in colour? my printer usually shoots out high quality prints if i tweak the settings.

Id just steal them off the net and print them off. :)

I think that's what I'm going to do.. I just have a black and white (grrr), so I guess I'll just save them to disk and go to Kinko's. :)

at "adult" stores, i've seen wrapping paper with pinup images on them. that would probably give you quite a few.

I found this great LJ community, it's called Pin-Up Girls, Vintage Nudes and Retro Beauties, located at http://www.livejournal.com/community/pinupgirls/ If anyone needs pinups or nudies, this is definitely the place to check out!

Alexander Henry (http://www.ahfabrics.com/) makes some really neat pinup fabrics, maybe you could cover the box in fabric?

DO you have a Spencer's Gifts near you? They have an adult section and usually have some neat wrapping paper and such with pinup girls.

If 12 - 13 bucks isn't too steep, you might look for a calendar with pin up girls. That way you'd get really good quality pictures to work with.

my local borders had a pin-up girl book (pretty thick with tons of pictures) for pretty cheap. i think it was even under $10. for that cheap you could mutilate it and use the pics for decoupage.

ps you're an awfully nice girlfriend...i'd be giving him crap for wanting to keep the mags in the first place ;c )

just a suggestion [though it doesn't answer your question]
if the box you're covering is painted white, and if you find pictures that are printed on glossy paper [like from magazines]...
something that looks nice is if you take your glossy-paper-cutout, paint them with clear acrylic matte medium[or even gloss medium might work], and then once the medium is dry, you soak them in water and then peel the paper off the back. then all you've got is the ink, under a layer of medium, and then you can transfer that to a box or whatever, and it has a different look than when you paste paper.
