Who inspires you?

These artists inspire me and make me drool: Teesha Moore, Claudine Hellmuth, Leslie Riley, Karenann Young, Sarah Fishburn, Keith Lo Bue, and James Michael Starr. Of course, I am also a big fan of Joseph Cornell.
Can anyone here recommend other similar artists I might enjoy?

My current artsy craftsy fetishes include collage (including fabric collage), assemblages, box art, shrines, paper arts, and book arts.

Yes, I am a yahoo groups member. I've been in collageartists and complex cloth for a long time (as a lurker, mostly). I was in alteredbooks a while back, but I took it off because my mailbox had been overflowing. It's mostly cleared out now, though. I added a few new ones to try today after reading your posts, but I don't remember their names. Can you recommend some other good ones for me to look into? Thanks.

I have to agree with you... especially since I am friends with Lesley Riley, Sarah Fishburn (I ADORE her) and Karen Ann Young. They are superfantasticalinspirationalsplendiferous artists!!!

Oooh, lucky you! I wish I knew them personally. I want to take their workshops at Artfest and other artists' conventions, but I have not been able to afford it. Santa Claus hasn't come through for me so far, even though I've been a good girl. Maybe next time. Please tell them I am an adoring fan. And thanks for adding me to your friends list. I am new at livejournal, and you are the third person to add me to their friends. ;-)
