New Skirt

Made this yesterday, First view standalone second with pants. I like it with pants, as fall/winter is soon approaching. Im excited for halloween to arrive :)

how do you make your skirts. do you just start cutting and sewing? or do you have an idea of what your doin. cause they look like theyre made to not know like what your doing, but you really do. haha what? does that make any sense. anyways. also what kind of top do you use. like do you use buttons, a snap, somethin from a pair of pants. how do ya keep them up. thats what i mean. : ) oh and do you make pants too? theyre hard to make. i can make skirts, shirts, dresses, but pants...watch out. haha. ok thannx.

I prefer the "with pants" look. And yet the other look is nice, too--shows off the assymetry well. It reminds me of stuff I used to make. Cool icon, by the way.

nah, it wasnt hard. Pleats are fun to make, its kind of hard to explain though. Let me ponder, ill get back to you.

damn i cant get over how awesome that skirt is. i cant really make clothes.. well actually ive never tried. i need to practice sewing a straight line... (that how bad i am) all i've made was a bag out of the corduroys i had and some ribbon. came out pretty cool.

i like the skirt without pants better because it shows the lines... or maybe with pants of a light or brighter color underneath.

mee too. great for fall, also. I wear it with a buttlength black coat with white fur trim. my friend said it looked babyrivet. I was amused.

hey, you totally inspire me to make my own skirts! I love this skirt also. I'm going to attempt my first skirt tomorrow i think. Where do you buy your fabric? Also did you put the belt on that skirt, like is it attached? You really should start selling your stuff.
