knitted/felt rosette? EDIT: ANSWER FOUND!

i love this community...

yesterday (after my last final!) i was browsing through the urban outfitters holiday 03 issue, and i found a felt scarf that fastened beneath a felt rosette. and then i started wondering...since it's possible to crochet a rosette, shouldn't it also be possible to knit one? i searched for instructions online and couldn't seem to find anything.

does anyone have a pattern for knitting a rosette? or, if not, can anyone guide me in making a felt one? it would beautify my holiday knitting projects even more...

i pray for peace for any students finishing up the semester lately...thank you for sharing your craftiness, lovely ladies.

edit!: just randomly browsing knitty for holiday projects, i totally found knit rosette patterns. they are at the bottom of this page. !!

knitting into the back and front of a stitch is a fairly simple way to increase your knitting. i find it a little bit tricky, but it's not too hard to catch on to. the instructions at stitchguide (click here) should help you out a lot. :)
