During a recent trip to Disneyland, I was trying to take pictures using my iPod Touch while standing over the water during a night show, which meant I was totally paranoid about keeping my iPod from falling out of my hands and bouncing into the water, lost forever. So when I got home, I made this:
It's just felt, but it's made to fit over my iPod's hard case, so it'll still be protected in case of a drop. The screen window is so I can see what I'm taking a picture of, so even though it doesn't fit extremely well, it'll do what it's meant for. The strap is essentially a friendship bracelet, but I wanted something that was a little more substantial than just a braid. It's also sewn to the case below the knot, so it should be secure.
The back:
It's open at the top right now, but when it comes time for a trip, I'll just stitch it closed so the iPod won't fall out, though I may try to work in some sort of strap to keep it closed.
It may not look like the prettiest iPod case out there, but as long as I can take pictures while keeping my iPod close, I'll take it.
