Brush organizer made of sushi mat

Hello there!

Couple days ago, one of my friend shared an idea how to make a brush organizer of sushi mat. I found this idea brilliant! I was thinking to make some organizer because I have quite a few of cosmetics brushes that has to be organized. So the idea was just in right time :)

This organizer made of sushi mat and elastic.

Wrap the elastic around first couple sticks

Secure it with several stitches

Then, start to weave the elastic around the sticks making small and big holders for the brushes.

In the end, wrap again couple sticks with elastic and secure it with stitches.

And the organizer is ready.When all brushes are placed, it can be rolled and, for example, tied with ribbon :)

That's a great idea; simple and sleek, and I would think it means that even if you put your brushes away damp, they'll be able to dry properly.

OMG, yes, yes!! You are right- the drying part, which is such a drag, usually ~~in my case, cats are sticking their paws too :D~~, is dealt with so smoothly!

Yep-) I also like the idea, because it's easy to wash.

For anyone who wears earrings, they work great for that too. I wish mine wasn't in storage so I could post a pic, just tie a length of ribbon on the top and hang it on the wall, it works for hooks and posts, and since they all hang right in front of you they don't get lost and you can see just he ones you want to wear, it also makes them easier to pack if you go on a trip.
