I come bearing some finished objects of the knitted kind :3

I had two skeins of alpaca left over after I finished my vest, so I decided to learn how to knit mittens! I still have bits of yarn left, but I dunno if it's enough for another project, haha.

Bought this handspun rainbow (acrylic, if I remember correctly?) yarn from a girl on tumblr and decided to knit myself a shawlette with it. I bound it off a little too tightly, so even after blocking the point kind of wants to curl, but it’s not too bad.

It's my mother's birthday on the 9th, and I decided since she's been given so many hand-knit things by my sister, it's about time I knit her something, too. So I knit her this shawl. Hopefully she'll like it :)

First pair of socks! Mentioned over Christmas to my sister that I'd like to add socks to my repertoire, so she taught me :) She taught me two ways of knitting heels, so there’s one sock with each type of heel, but that’s okay. Figures that the nicest looking one of the two (the sock to the left, on my right foot) is the method I don’t remember! xD

I love them all. I really wish I can learn to knit. I might take a class when my little one starts school.

It's so easy to teach yourself online with all the video tutorials now! :) definitely check that out before taking a class!

These are all AWESOME! :D I tried to learn how to do socks one time and epically failed. Those came out great, though! Even the one with the inferior heel. :) I especially love the second shawl, as well.

Very nice work. I tried socks, but get all nervous when it comes to the heel. There are lots in instruction books for socks now, so should make it easier.
