I'd like to invite you all to a free non LJ community, Notebook In Hand. I do not mean to take you away from this community or anything like that, it's just another option and it'd really help me out to have some new active members.
We cover any creative hobby not just craft. We have writers and artists as well as people who make films or what have you. You don't need to be an expert to participate, we welcome absolute beginners and also people who are just doing a one off project. We also talk about life, books, games, movies, tv shows, etc. We're from all over the world and have members of all ages.Membership is moderated because of spammers being a problem, but I'll approve you asap especially if you reply here saying what your username is, if you signed up.
We'll help you research, critique you, you can show us in progress photos, we're good at encouragement, and you'd also be doing us a massive favour.
