Or how I've spent my last couple of weekends.

Amazing!
Well, I used to spend some of my time quilling too, but then, they were all just too simple: a heart, a fish, a star, etc. Of course I have seen some advanced quilling techniques, but this is the most amazing one.
Nice work, matey!

i'd seen little bits and pieces of quilling, and wondered what anyone would DO with it besides the little bits and pieces. i REALLY like your picture. it has answered my question and then some.

Thank you. It's still something I'm new to - so practice makes perfect as they say.

This is so awesome!! I love it. :D And where did you get your quilling equipment, btw? I discovered quilling online about a year ago and wanted to learn but I went to Michael's (the only crafting place around here, really) and they said they used to carry stuff for quilling but they don't anymore. o.o;

*smilles* Thank you!

Looked on-line, so Ebay, Amazon places like that. Being UK based most craft shops don't even come close to carrying stuff like that. So it took a bit of searching but not much, Quilled Creations has an excellent beginners kit and I started there.
