Some FOs

Hooray for finishing things!

This was loosely based off a crocheted scarf I saw in a LYS in Brooklyn, NY about a year or two ago. My version has three stripes on each end, though. Made from Vanna in purple and dusky purple.

This is a baby blanket I made for a friend. The pattern is in the Plymouth Encore Baby Blanket book, and the yarn is Plymouth Encore Colorspun "Very Bright Kids".

LJ is cutting off half the blanket pic. No idea why. But you get the idea from the half that is showing.

These are pretty!! Is the scarf crochetted double, such that one side is the color inverse of the other (I know there are ways to do this in knitting but I've never heard of it with crochet o.o) or did you just switch the color scheme halfway? It's just hard to tell from the photo. :)

Thanks, no, I just switched colors halfway through. I didn't have time to anything fancy other than a garter stitch, so I did 15 inches in the MC and 15 in the AC. :)
