My kids are WILD about Little Big Planet for Playstation 3. I'm pretty fond of it myself.
Over this year, I've been teaching myself (with help of tons of Youtube videos, written patterns, and keys on how to read the written patterns) how to crochet. I'm not sure what put the idea into my head, but I decided to crochet some Little Big Planet Sackboys for my kids. Yes, I know the character is supposed to be knitted, but I can only work with what I know.

I wrote down the pattern as I worked, and there was much removal of rows and crossing out of lines on the paper. Even now that they're done, I look at the final product and see a few tweaks I want to make. If I give myself the time to sit down and work on it, I'm going to adjust a few things and make another.
I also bought the game for my mom's family (five adopted kids) for Christmas. If they love it as much as we do, there are five more Sackboys that'll be in the works.

p.s did you find the "how to" on youtube? I have made a few things from there and wow what a great place to learn if you are more visual (like me)
