what kind of paint would you use to paint large pieces of indoor furniture? (book cases, end tables, etc.) im getting my first apartment with my fiance and we are gonna go crazy with the decorating :-P

I have had good luck with regular paint for walls, and sometimes I also use spray paint. If you handle it or wash it regularly, be sure to seal it with polyacrylic or polyurethane. Just read the cans and decide which is best for the materials you are working with, and sand the surfaces before painting. :)

depends on the piece and how good you want it to be. for a really special endtable, i used artist's quality acrylics. very expensive! for most things, i'd imagine plain enamel is fine.

remember to prime your pieces first to get a truer, brighter color, and waste less of your nice paint doing multiple coats. have fun!
