Hi guys~ ^__^ It's been a while no?
I finally decided to give myself a kick start in terms of jewelry making again. The result? A very varied outcome from wrapping crystals, to stone, to glass, to trees~
Take a look? 8D

Spring also seems to strike me in a crystal whim, so stay tuned as I work on mini-crystal trees and other adventure with the shiny material! 8D

Trees are so nice, I totally agree. They not only give good shade and help filter the air, but they also look nice in art, very multi-talented indeed~
I buy crystals and stones as I find them in small bits since I'm still a student so I have to really pick and chose with my limited funds.
I start a something in 2 ways: I either take inventory of what I happen to have on hand and think of what I can do with it, or I go into something with a final goal concept in mind and purchase material towards that goal. But I don't plan the details, which makes me kind of horrible as a teacher sometimes, because I do what looks right to me and I hardly ever measure out materials. So I never know how one of my wrapped pendants would really look like in the end because my only plan was "okay I'm going to have a pendant at the end of this" and not "okay I'm going to have a pendant that looks like this".
Does that help at all? xD;
Thank you for sharing.
I'm mostly self taught, I got one 30 min lesson run down of the basics from my Lost Wax Casting teacher but that's it. I was on my own for the rest =)
