circle scarf

1:22 pm - 03/21/2011

So I wake up this morning to inches & inches of SNOW. Unreasonable. I couldn't believe it. And, unfortunately, I have this rule about the first day of spring. It's that I don't wear a coat anymore. (Because that coaxes the cold weather to stay!)

The good news is I have been working on this circle scarf...

I have been using up the scraps from my "en pointe" yarn

It's just a simple tube with an easy lace pattern & seed stitch. But I had hoped to not need it until next winter...

i put all of my jackets away the day before the 1st day of spring. i have my 2 sweatshirts that are year round and 1 spring jacket that i keep out.
coaxing winter back is right. no more jackets!

also that scarf is wonderful

You might want to look into circle scarves. I don't like regular scarves because they feel like they're choking me, but a big circle scarf is loose & cozy. :)

it still touches the back of my, unfortunately, also causing a problem. It's really weird! If I tuck a scarf under a collar, I'm good. If it touches my skin though...weird, i know....
