Nifty Wrap Pants

Oh man. These pants are so comfy, cheap and easy. The cloth cost me about $2 (you need around 2 yards for a pair of pants) and it took me about 20 minutes to make them.





How to make your own:


How to put them on:

1. grab one side and wrap it around your waist
2. tie it in the back
3. pull the otherside under your legs and it around the opposite way
4. tie in the front. yay!

ok, I just tried to make these (I'm a newbie sewer and they looked super easy) and I messed up with the crotch seam. Could you give an idea of measurements for that area (I cut out too large of a "U" and they're too tight around the waist).

The crotch cut out is about the size of a persons head (I hope that helps) and if the waist is too tight I would first make sure your putting them on right, and then if you are indeed then you can either make the ties longer or add more fabric to the sides.

ahhh.. my cutout was far too large then :) I've added some fabric to the sides and they are now large enough :) I'll have to try making a second pair!
